• Work is much more enjoyable now, which is a good thing. The 7am Sunday starts aren't ideal, but I'd do it all for Ron McDon.

• I re-did my blog design - dunno if you've noticed! I actually love it, so I'd love to know what you guys think. My mum only had one question : "Why poo?"
• It's half term, which means lie-ins, the chance to watch more movies, but also having to do a LOT of schoolwork. It's a gift and a curse.
• I'm just getting over one of my dreadful colds. I hate to sound like a self-pitying moaner, but my colds are probably the worst colds ever. Next time you have a sniffle, DON'T GO TELLING ME YOU HAVE A COLD.
  
• Who's this Jessie J? I'm not a fan. At all.

Happy Tuesday!

• My skin is being quite obedient lately. Obviously, I'm not blemish free, but I really can't complain. Could the Body Shop Vitamin E Face Soap be doing the trick?
• I started my job at McDonald's last weekend. Three words: OH MY GOD. I could never have precedented how tiring and exhausting 17 hours could be. All I'm thinking of right now is the money. Me = $.$
• Some people are getting far too mean on You Tube. I am a big fan of beauty tutorials, but I have to say, the hate that some of these girls get is completely undeserved. Seriously, if I was some of them, I'd have packed it in by now.
• 90210 is the best show ever. I'm just about to watch it on 4oD, and I can't wait. Guilty pleasurez, fo' evah!
• I hate wading though books, but I'm persuading myself not to be the type of person that quits half way. Hurry up Heller, goddammit!

• I had my first ever job interview today. Yes! As of today, I am potentially (fingers crossed) a McDonald's employee. In the words of Apu Nahasapeemapetalon - "It may not be glamorous, but it's good, honest work". And lord knows I need the money.
• I've gone a bit feverish with my 'future', trying to plan what Uni's I'm going to apply for when the time comes and etc. In Febuary, I'll be attending a 3-day shadowing course in Cambridge! I'm so excited.
• I'm going through a period now where I physically cannot and WILL not wear trousers. Skirts have gotten me through winter, and pantaloons be damned, they're taking me through the rest of the year.
• Loads of people have been getting nasty flus, and viruses (including my beautiful mummy). My immune system's holding up ok; no icky coughs for me. However, I do realise that through writing this I will most likely be struck down my a tropical fever and be bed ridden for the next month.
• I love my rabbit more than I love life.

I'm on a blogging hype. Let's roll with it.This is Jackson, my baby. I've had him for about a year and a half, and there is no-one I love more. My light, my soul, my Jackson.

• I attempted writing a 'What Up?' on Monday and I was in a terrible mood, so I basically sounded like such a mardy cow. I think today won't be quite as catastrophic.
• Don't you love putting on make-up/perfume in the evening, even if you're not heading out? Sometimes, I just go over to my vanity and pop a bit of liner or blusher on. A mid-evening beauty boost!
• Why is it that I prefer speaking in other accents than my own? You American/Irish/Northern/Australian people don't know how lucky you are.
• I'm going through one of those 'I need to cut my hair' stages, where I'm seriously contemplating a Cheryl Cole bob. But then, I know that if I do it, I'll hate myself. So you know what? Embrace the Rapunzel hair!
• Marlon Brando. 'Nuff said.Wouldn't say no, to put it bluntly.

I think it's about time for a new post, don't you?^sheepish/coy/pathetic pose = my form of an apology.

• The Czech Republic (which seems yonks ago now) was amazing. I ate great food, was able to relax and spend time with some of my favourite people!
• I'm just waiting for term to end. This Christmas couldn't come any sooner. It's not even the festivities I'm looking forward to, it's just not having to get up at bloody dawn every morning. Ok, so it's not dawn. But it's close!
• Last week was one of the best! We did the school show, and now I miss everyone like crazy. Basically everyone except me was looking forward to it ending, but now it's over, I just wanna cryyyy.
• I'm absolutely loving Leonard Cohen. I've been a fan of his music but it's his writing that's sending the shivers down me spine momentarily.
• My friend (she's reading this right now, I bet) introduced me to Kings of Leon. I just wanna say a huge, majestic THANK YOU.
• I'm going X-Mas present shopping on Saturday. Ohlord, wish me luck!^Lame.

What Up? 2.0

Hello Cherubs!
I'm a bit behind, as was brought to my attention to my best friend and biggest fan, Shona!
Not ashamed in name-dropping!
But I thought I'd give you all a little round up...

• It's getting ridiculously chilly out, and cardigans/jackets are no longer cutting it. That's why it's time to get nice and cuddly, girlies!
• Whilst we're on the subject, I did get myself a winter coatt yesterday. NewLook website won't let me get the picture, but you can see the coat here. It looks a bit manky on there, trust me, it looks far better on.
• I went shopping today, and for the 2nd time, have been astonished with Primark. Great clothes for dirt cheap prices? Why did I not hear of this before?
• I've developed an unhealthy obsession for the candy teeth they sell at my corner shop. They are the defenition of yum :p
• I'm off to the Czech Republic next week, which I'm more than excited about. I mean, I'm really excited!
• I've been watching Skins on 4oD. I like it, although I realise it's a bit of a guilty pleasure. The acting talent is all a bit 'meh', except perhaps two exceptions,but it's a nice bit of popcorn telly to pass your afternoons with.

What Up? 1.0

Now, realisticly, my first post ought to be about beauty, considering that's what this is all about. However, technology is not willing to co-operate with me, therefore, I am forced to give you a nice rambly post about life and that.
I plan to do these "What Up?" segments quite often,just basically when I feel like telling y'all about everything and nothing. I love reading these when other bloggers do them, so I hope you guys don't mind.

• It's half term, which I suppose I should be happy about. But with such dire weather and a diabolocal amount of work to do, it equates to a bit of a "Hmph" mood.

• I've become addicted to swatching. Literally, my past two evenings have consisted of me watching 'The Only Way is Essex' (more on that later) on ITV Player whilst swatching the life out of nearly every item in my make-up collection. I blame boredom.
• Not wanting to get left behind, England has only gone and got itself its own version of 'The Hills' or whatever it is these youngsters are always on about these days. 'The Only Way is Essex' is perhaps the most distressing thing on television. Distressingly fake, distressingly terrible, but most distressingly, distressingly addictive.
• Birthdays! Literally most of my friends have birthdays in October, which means major present hauling. Don't get me wrong, I'm a giver as well as a taker, but it's a bit of a blow to my purse's confidence. Poor purse...

That's about all I have for you folks. I'm gonna try and sort out my camera/computer complications and hopefully get up to speed with some proper posting. Till then!
